Shanti Yoga Safari started as Agnes' dream for creating healthier and happier communities, who follow a yogic lifestyle and connect to nature on a deeper level. Suffolk Cirlce was created by Charlotte to bring women together in a healing and empowering atmosphere encouraging them to live their truths and plunge into life and the North Sea. It was meant to be that Shanti Yoga Safari and Suffolk Circle meet and collaborate to bring peace, calm, healing and lots of fun and adventures for their communities.

We started our weekend beach yoga classes at Felixstowe Pier and you can also find us at the CHIP Community Hub (47 St Nicholas St, Ipswich IP1 1TW) on every 1st and 3rd Sundays of each month, starting in October.  Contact us for arranging online or face to face private or group yoga classes and ceremonies and dream with us about our next retreats together...

Our love of yoga and nature fuels the forthcoming outdoor weekend yoga sessions, sea dips, walks, and adventures and the magical yoga retreats at dream destinations and in the UK with hiking and exciting outdoor activities. You can join us on our walks dips, hikes, outdoor weekend yoga sessions and retreats to enjoy the beautiful parks and beaches whilst practising yoga together.

Learn to listen to your Body and calm your Mind

Shanti Yoga Safari Classes help you to relax and recharge while building a stronger and flexible body and a peaceful and calm mind. You will be able to easily get into the flow at our classes and you will find a great variety of yoga traditions (e.g. yin yoga, vinyasa), asanas, mindfulness, breathing techniques and mudras. We love modifications and challenges to suit a range of levels from beginner to advanced. Both indoor and outdoor sessions provide an excellent opportunity to exercise your body and mind, plus you can meet other engaged and open-minded individuals. Yoga courses, Meditation and Breathwork

I have found a perfect place for us in the heart of Ipswich: the CHIP HUB at 47 St. Nicholas Street, Ipswich, IP1 1TW. This is where we are going to meet on every 1st and 3rd Sundays between 5pm and 7pm starting in October 2022.

We will adventure into various traditions of yoga (e.g. hatha, yin, vinyasa) and learn about mindfulness, meditation, mudras and breathwork too.

The combination of the asanas, mindfulness, mudras and breathing techniques enables students to get into a flow during the class and into deep relaxation by the end of the class. You are going to be more aware of your body and mind and will be able to apply everything you learn on the mat in real life, off the mat to manifest a healthier body, a more peaceful mindset and life.

Peace and contenment

Shanti Yin and Yang balancing yoga sessions are a delicate fusion of vinyasa and yin yoga. Using the best of all traditions, meditation and breathing practices, so you can find your balance in our chaotic world. Most of us live a very yang lifestyle and don't have the tools to manage our time and especially the time we supposed to spend with relaxing or recharging ourselves. This way we are never really peaceful or content, but we can learn techniques to become more peaceful. Come and learn more about how to revitalise and relax and how to do that off the yoga mat too to be able to live and breathe peace and contentment.

Mind and body in harmony

Shanti Yoga Safari Vinyasa classes are based on the belief that mental and physical health are interrelated, and should be conditioned together. Our vinyasa flow classes at Shanti Yoga Safari attempt to coordinate breathing and physical movement, improve focus and concentration by using midnfulness to aid you in controlling your body and mind.

Deep stretch & deep relaxation

In Yin Yoga we stimulate the connective tissue, fascia, joints and ligaments, not the muscles. We exercise our muscles and run around all day, whilst trying to tick many boxes. Most of us live a very yang lifestyle. We need balance physically and mentally.  Yin Yoga will help you to deeper relaxation and improved meditation. We need to slow down, we need to exercise our yin qualities on and off the mat. We need to practise yin qualities such as patience, gratitude and contentment. Disconnect and recharge

Weekend Shanti Yoga Safari sessions will help you to disconnect from our busy world and reconnect with nature, whilst recharging your body and mind. This will enable you to focus on the present moment... and you are going to enjoy every second of it. Exercising in nature elevates your mood like nothing else. Come and see it for yourself! 

We had some wonderful sessions since 2018. The sessions in Victoria Park were really wonderful , we had vinyasa and yin sessions and we soaked up the last sun rays of the summertime together in August. We also hiked on the  beautiful Mole Gap Trail and enjoyed a yoga session at the end of the trail after seeing the most amazing spring flowers. The sessions in Victoria Park at the Pagoda on 10th and 24th March 2019 raised funds for Sam's trip to Costa Rica to help wildlife. Read more at the Charity Events section. We also practiced yoga in Clapham Common, Kennington Park, Brockwell Park and in Kennington Park. We started our sessions this summer at Felixstowe beach. Giving back to our communities

We are happy to help you delivering fundraising yoga events when available. Yoga Charity Events are an integral part of Shanti Yoga Safari as our vision is to create happier and healthier communities. We will work with selected charities and help them fundraising with wonderful yoga sessions. Our sessions designed to include a wide variety of exercises and modifications to suit a range of levels from beginner to advanced. We helped planning the Yoga Mela, a superb Yoga Community Event with Alice and Gurjeet. I lead a meditation session there and met so many wonderful yogisand yoga teachers. I also designed the Yoga Mela website and this one (so, let me know if you need help with designing your webpage). The event was a non-profit community event on 8th September 2019 at the Oval Space (E2 9DT). Yoga Mela aims to build and strengthen the yogi community in London and to raise awareness of all things yoga to the public.

We had fundraising sessions in March 2019 on 10th and 24th in Victoria Park at the Pagoda, where we raised funds for Sam Wernick, for his volunteering trip to Costa Rica in 2020 with Camps International and his school, Harris Academy Chafford Hundred (HACH). This is a once-in-a-lifetime 4-week trip during which he will help to protect Costa Rica's rare & incredible flora, fauna & wildlife, some of which is endangered by human activity. (Did you know Costa Rica hosts nearly 6% of the world's biodiversity?) He will also be working with indigenous communities who have been left behind by Costa Rica's economic growth and many survive under the global poverty line of $1 a day for a family of up to 8 people. When he is out in Costa Rica, he will be replanting trees, helping conservation work & cleaning beaches to help marine life, as well as creating sanitation spaces, clean water supplies & helping build, paint & teach in schools and homes. 

We helped Chris to raise money for his rowing competition for a charity called Ahoy. The yoga class was a fun way of fundraising. And Chris' team finished third! Get in contact if you need my help with your fundraising.

The sessions in Brockwell Park on 18th August 2018 and the yoga class on 21st August 2018 at the WAC were fundraising events for my beautiful friend Alexia Taylor, who went to Lebanon to teach yoga for refugees. 



Deepen your yoga practice

Shanti Yoga Safari Retreats will help you to disconnect from our busy world and reconnect with nature, whilst recharging your body and mind. You will learn breathing and meditation techniques and deepen your yoga practice.


We will have daily yin yoga and vinyasa classes for cultivating your yin and yang qualities. There will be additional workshops on designing your home yoga practice or cooking healthy and nutritious food.  


Extra programmes will include hiking, kayaking, massage or boat trips depending on the retreat you choose.

Both  are  accepted and will give you 20% off of classes and 15% off of retreats. Defence Privilige Card provides discounts both online and on the high street for members of the Armed Forces, Veterans and Armed Forces Community. Blue Light Card provides discounts online and on the high street through a physical Blue Light Card. I am going to guide you 1on1 or your small group on your yoga journey to achieve your goals. Your yoga session will be tailor made for you, choosing the yoga tradition, pranayamas (breathing techniques), mudras (hand gestures), asanas (poses) depending on your level, interests and goals.​ 

We will discuss your aims. Is it pain relief? Is it enhancing your emotional wellbeing? Learning about mindfulness or breathing techniques? Weight loss or gaining your spinal mobility back?

Shanti Yoga Safari has been founded by me, Agnes Jung. My goal is to offer yoga programs that may benefit you and make you more resilient. I have been practicing yoga since 2003. I started practicing hatha yoga in the beginning and later explored various traditions, including vinyasa and yin yoga. I recently fell in love with aerial yoga. I completed a 200 hours Yoga Teacher Training in 2018, because I wanted to deepen my knowledge and practice of hot hatha, vinyasa and yin yoga, pranayama and meditation to ensure that I can be your best guide on your yoga journey. Shanti Yoga Safari started as my dream of creating a community which shares the love of yoga and nature. Shanti is a Sanskrit term meaning "peace." In both Hindu and Buddhist practice, yogis chant shanti three times in order to promote peace in body, mind and spirit, such as in the mantra, Om Shanti Shanti Shanti.
